For the chanichim to learn about the Ethiopian aliya to Israel and the surrounding events

Goal:  The chanichim should understand the role that the Jewish community plays in fighting assimilation. They should understand which aspects of it are most important and why. They should also see how serious the problem of assimilation is and determine ways we can fight it.

To discuss why our tnua is named after Rabbi Akiva, to review the meaning

behind Bnei Akiva rites and rituals.

Goals: Aleph: To show that racism is wrong. To learn about the unfairness of stereotyping.

Bet: To learn about racism from a Jewish perspective To understand the idea of a chosen people
