Goals: Teach the chanichim about this important part of the new Yeshuv and its struggle to gain independence. Focus on bravery and determination

The goal:

The main communication between two people- is Hakshava- listening.

During the day, when every-one runs from one place to another, when we feel we have to do a-lot of things, we don’t listening. We are hearing, but we aren’t listening. Not to ourselves, and more then that, not to the others.

We hope, that this Peula, will open a little-bit the understanding of the Chanichim to listen more to each other, and it will bring our little neighborhood, and area, to be more patient, to hear, and to listen to the others.

Topic: This peulah deals with the

meeting of Halacha – received from Hashem thousands of years ago at Har Sinai –

with the ever-changing, always advancing technology of the soon to be 21st

century. Some people would like to say that Halacha is outdated, it doesn’t

apply anymore or holds us back from being part of modern society. We know

better. The rabbis of every generation have the ability to apply the principles

of Halacha to any possibility that you can imagine. Their amazing knowledge of

the Torah ensures that for every new product that technology can create, there

is a halacha to go with it, telling us how to use it.

Goal: To show that Halacha\Torah is not old and inapplicable but contains

information to cover all situations that futuristic technology can conceive.

This

peulah aims to instill in all of us a certain appreciation for the adaptability

of Halacha and how it can help to live our lives properly.

Goals: Review some of the basic parts of the Israeli Army; Stress the impact that Tzahal has on every Jew.

Activities:

Story: “Battletime Bar Mitzvah” – how the army affects the citizens of

Israel

goal:

The chanich will learn the story of one great Israeli hero, Eli cohen.

Goal:  To determine our responsibilities regarding the distribution of tzedaka in terms of Jew vs. non-Jew, causes in

Israel vs. causes in the

United States, individual aniyim vs. charitable organizations, etc.; to evaluate the types of causes we would support first in the case of limited funds
