For the Chanichim/students to learn more about Yom Yerushalayim and recognize the religious, historic and diplomatic significance this day represents.

Goals:  To demonstrate that one of the special features of Yerushalayim was its ability to bring all of the Jews together, an important characteristic for a capital city.

To familiarize the chanichim with three different famous roads to Yerushalayim, from 3 different tkufot (time periods).

To teach about the singer Yafa Yarkoni & the song "Bab El-Wad"
