Explain to the chanichim that we can always be free if we have our most important freedom – our bchira chofshit

The goal is that the chanichim will come away with a more realistic vision of what Geula is.  They will also consider the role that Medinat Yisrael could play in such a vision.

Goal: 1. The Chanichim will understand that the homeland of Am Israel is in Eretz

Israel.

          2. The Chanichim will understand that when we are not in Eretz Yisrael our      qualities are not good as they can be in

Israel.

Goal: Based on everything we have seen so far on the trip, the assimilation, but success of Jews in America, the chanichim should discuss the question; is it ok to call America our home or not? Either way, they should understand that they can never fully feel totally at home in

America while remaining loyal to

Israel, and what ramifications this has on where we as Jews should be living.

To identify those areas in which we can learn from our non-Jewish teachers and acquaintances, as well as the limits we must place on our interaction with these individuals

To teach the chanachim about the problems of mixed marriage - through the story.

3. To consider what linked us together in the past and continues to bind us together today

Goals: The chanichim will understand that redemption is a product of the combined effort of both God and ourselves.The chanichim will understand that גלות isn't necessarily a dark, sad bad place, rather a situation when one is distanced from his origin, his real self, his natural state. For example, Am Yisrael's natural and ideal state is living as a nation in Eretz Yisrael. Am Yisrael's essential way of life is by the Torah. Not being connected to those two puts Am Yisrael in a state of גלות.  The chanichim will understand that Am Yisrael is one unit, an organic being, and inseparable.

Goal: Teach about the life of Shimshon: being a Nazir, his battles with the Pelishtim

To encourage members of Chevraya Bet to think about how they can get involved in tikkun olam b’malchut Sh-dai.

PPS about each victim from the terrorist attack on Yeshivat Mercaz Ha'Rav
