Goal:  To examine the processes by which we chose leaders, both officially and on a day-to-day, informal basis.  To evaluate some of the characteristics that we look for in leaders and ways that we discern those traits in others.   

A short article for Yom Ha'Shoaa

Goal:  To get the chanichim to think about:

            1-the challenges of Aliyah throughout history in different generations, from the time of Olei Bavel until today, and what lesson can be taken for our lives. 

            2-the specific hardships encountered by the immigrants detained in Atlit and why their situation was particularly difficult and historically important.

The following two stories of Israeli soldiers, who participated in the liberation, exemplify how the Wall has touched the hearts of Jews throughout the ages.
