O     החניך יבין שראש השנה הוא יום בריאת העולם ועל כן זהו יום הולדתו של העולם.

O     החניך יבין כי עלינו להודות לה' על העולם הנפלא שנתן לנו דווקא ביום בריאתו של העולם.

O     החניך יחגוג יום הולדת זה ע"י איחולים לו ולסביבתו.

O     החניך יכיר את הסימנים אותם אנו אוכלים ברה"ש ויטעם מעט את טעמו של החג.
