v     The chanichim will hear what a Jewish lifestyle in

Israel includes.

v     The chanichim will realize that the Jewish life is happening and if they want to be part of it they should start get ready.

מטרת הפעולה: לגרום לחניכים להבין שלמרות שהחברה הישראלית מורכבת מאנשים שונים ומתרבויות שונות עלינו לגשר על ההבדלים ולהתאחד בתור עם ישראל.

האם לטשטוש זה של זהות עצמית מתכונים, כאשר מדברים, למשל על "התיוונות"?  הייתכן כי , בצאתו לחפש בעקבות המכבים, עלינו, באורח פלא גם על עקבות המתיוונים?

To explain to your chanichim that it is not one characteristic that defines a good Jew, but there are many different types of Jews and we can’t really judge which is the best. There is no the best Jew! BUT the many different types of Jews all contribute to the idea of the Jewish identity.

Wat maakt je Joods?

Chanichim te laten discussieren en een keuze te laten maken bepaalde oppervlakkige en minder oppervlakkige ‘joodse’ eigenschappen, en bepalen wat ze belangrijk vinden. Met als doel dat ze erover gaan nadenken.

Objective:  To expose the chanichim to the different religious, political and social aspects of Israeli society. 

In addition, to give the chanichim an opportunity to think about how and why Israeli society manifests these different views in the ways that it does.  (ie why bumper stickers?)

Teach about the Gevura of the Maccabim, as well as about the story of Chanuka

La cultura de nuestra generación tienta al hombre con una gran variedad de satisfacciones inmediatas que le llegan a él sin esfuerzo.La gente compra a través de internet, paga a través del teléfono, pide comida a su casa y aprieta diferentes botones electrónicos logrando así la satisfacción de sus deseos.

Que los janijim conozcan las halajot de Januká (más específicamente, del encendido de la janukiá)
