Aims:

Ø  To learn that Avraham was the first modern orthodox jew

Ø  To learn what modern orthodoxy is

Ø  To realise that the we might differ from the charedi world but that doesn’t mean we don’t get on with them

A man once came to the Chassidic master Rabbi Yerachmiel of Pshischa with his tale of woe:

"Rebbe, I am a tailor. Over the years, I have earned quite a reputation for my expertise and the high quality of my work.

This week the theme is personal values.  Why do you do what you do?  To teach thwe chanachim that every day, all of us have to make lots of little choices. We hope that they live up to what we think our values, but we all know that it doesn’t always happen the way we want it to.

Teach about Lashon Hara and give examples how it’s easy to jump to conclusions

Aims:

     ·   To learn why the Torah stresses the word generations

·      To show them the importance of passing the Torah down and learning

 To make sure that we are not the generation that breaks the chain
