The State of Israel

Goals: Teach about the struggles of Jewish Defense before the State of Israel, and the role played in the establishment of the State.

Goals: Teach the chanichim about this important part of the new Yeshuv and its struggle to gain independence. Focus on bravery and determination

Explain that before the State of Israel, Jews had to be smuggled into

Israel, emphasize the desire of the Jews for a homeland, and the effort it took to achieve.

Familiarize the chanichim with the achievements of the Mossad, the Israeli Intelligence Network; Illustrate some of the skills needed to be a Mossad agent.

Goals: Review some of the basic parts of the Israeli Army; Stress the impact that Tzahal has on every Jew.

That the Chanichim should understand the meaning of our country and the importance of the hope. Another goal is for them to understand the meaning of the national anthem of our land.

Goal: 1. The Chanichim will understand that the homeland of Am Israel is in Eretz

Israel.

          2. The Chanichim will understand that when we are not in Eretz Yisrael our      qualities are not good as they can be in

Israel.

To teach the chanichim as much as possible about the people who influenced the state of

Israel.
