We talk of counting the omer, but what is the omer? And what is its significance? There are so many questions that we could (and should!) ask, but we are going to focus a few…

מטרות השיעור:

1. התלמיד יכיר את שלושת הדמויות הקשורות לל"ג בעומר:

   ר' שמעון בר יוחאי, בר-כוכבא ור' עקיבא.

2. התלמיד יכיר את מנהגי ספירת העומר ול"ג בעומר.

O     החניך ילמד כיצד ניתן בכל שלב בחיינו לתקן ולצמוח לטוב מתוך דמותו של רבי עקיבא.

O     החניך יכיר בחשיבות הכבוד כלפי חבריו בניגוד לדרך בה נהגו תלמידיו של רבי עקיבא.

O     החניך יכיר את דמותו של רבי שמעון בר יוחאי וילמד מדוע מדליקים מדורות בל"ג בעומר.
