It’s important we discuss the legal concepts about freedom: the freedom to choose, body and soul freedom, the freedom to say what one thinks and the freedom to have assets.

To teach the chanichim that being slaves made the Jews unified and also made them merciful people.

לקראת חג הפסח "זמן חירותנו" ננסה לעסוק בשאלות:

מיהו עבד ומיהו בן חורין אמיתי? מה הופך אדם לבן חורין – לאדם חופשי?

כדאי להציג את השאלות האלו בשולחן השבת כשאלות פתיחה לדף הלימוד, ולשמוע דעות שונות.

As we approach Pesach, “the time of our freedom” we will attempt to deal with the following questions:

What is the definition of a slave and what is the definition of a truly free person? What transforms someone into a free person? It is worthwhile to ask these questions at the Shabbat table as opening questions for the study sheet and to entertain different opinions.
