Goal:

To discuss the involvement of the chanich in Bnei Akiva today and in the future

To learn some sources about the way the Torah expects us to live.

Learning how the Torah VaAvodah Ideology is a clear message from the TorahUnderstanding the need to live in

Israel in order to keep the ideology.

To discuss why our tnua is named after Rabbi Akiva, to review the meaning

behind Bnei Akiva rites and rituals.

To teach the chanichim about global Bnei- Akiva and to show them that each country and each snif may seem different, but underneath the language and culture barriers we all work together for the same goals and ideals… Aliyah, Torah, teamwork.

The Chanichim should learn basic and important information about Bnei Akiva and identify and understand a bit more about Bnei Akita’s values and ideals.

In this peula we are going to simulate a chalutz’s attempt to live in

Israel in the 1800’s. The kids will face the same trials and tribulations that the early settlers felt, and they will have to deal with those situations.

Ideas to get the chanichim to come to the Snif

·        To think about what names say about a Person and why we are called Bnei Akiva
