Aims OF Peula:

·        To learn that each name has a meaning

To learn the story of Akeidat Yitzchak

To understand that Akeidat Yitzchak took place on what is now known as Har Habayit.

To discuss the issue of faith and trust in both Hashem and other people in relation to Akeidat Yitzchak and our everyday lives

To show the kids that everyone is able to change themselves and their behaviour. To teach the kids the story of Yosef and his brothers, focusing on Yehuda’s teshuva and change.

Being that Sunday is 10 Be’Tevet, we would like the chanichim to be confronted with the question: why is remembering important? 

To learn together about Aliya. in this pages- about Abraham Avinu. How did Abraham leave him family and him homeland and went to a new land?! We learn from Abraham to trust and believe in ה' . When ה' says to Abraham to go to Eretz Israel. He does not ask any questions. He takes everything he owns and starts out walking to the Promised Land –that is how Abraham become the firs new immigrant to come to the Land of Israel. Abraham is our Father and we walk in his footsteps and we return to the Land of Israel. The land that ה' promised to Abraham and to all the Jews
