Goal:  Proving to the chanichim that we should be “all for one and one for all”.  Working together is usually the best solution.

Teach the chanichim to think before they speak and to care for others.

The goal:

To understand, that the giving is something, that you can’t leave without it, and you have to have it. Each one has the Midah of “Netina” , in himself, but you can make your Midah much bigger. It all depends on you.

the subject of snif this week is “Ben Adam l’chavero.” This is interaction between one (wo) man to another (wo) man. We’re supposed to talk about how one little action can effect our lives is an extremely dramatic way. Although a little action can have from very little to no affect on somebody’s life at all whatsoever, it is our job to stress the fact that it can.

Explore some of the halachot of Kavod, and gain an understanding for them.

To teach about the importance of telling the truth

A peula with this theme does not present a difficult concept for chanichim to take in. But there should be more depth to it that just “being nice to each other” games. Snif should end with a feeling of caring about other people.

            But such a peula could work on several levels – dealing with the following:

i.                     Our responsibilities towards our friends

ii.                   Our responsibilities towards those people we know or know about who are less fortunate than ourselves (e.g. the elderly)

iii.                  Our responsibilities to less fortunate Jews in other parts of the world

Teach about Lashon Hara and give examples how it’s easy to jump to conclusions

To have the chanichim think about their roles as siblings, and as siblings with all of Am Yisrael.
